For the past five years, Dr. Brouwer has proudly served the community of Kamloops, BC, where he established his own multidisciplinary sports clinic. He now embarks on an exciting new chapter as he relocates to Alberta with his wife and young daughter. As he transitions to a new community, Dr. Brouwer remains steadfast in his commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to athletes and individuals of all ages and backgrounds, helping them to unleash their full potential and live life to the fullest.
Dr. Rylan Brouwer is a chiropractor who has a passion for optimizing performance and wellness in athletes. As a current athlete and former varsity volleyball player, Dr. Brouwer has a firsthand understanding of the all encompassing demands athletes face. Using this knowledge, combined with his education and experience, he has helped many athletes, whether it be professionals, youth sports or the weekend warrier, reach their full potential.
As an avid golfer, Dr. Brouwer has a special interest in working with this population. He is a certified level 2 Titleist Performance Institute provider and utilizes an individualized swing analysis program to create an efficient golf swing that not only improves your game but lowers your risk of injury. He looks forward to providing this service to the golfing community of Edmonton!
Dr. Rylan Brouwer obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2019, with an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Vancouver Island University. With the understanding that performance is based on a whole body approach, he has completed further education in the form of functional movement screening, manual muscle release, sport specific movement screening and personal research for current treatment guidelines. Some certificates he holds include, Active Release Techniques (ART) Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), several functional movement screening courses (SFMA, FMS, FRC), and sports residency programs.
